A grand, steel totem by artist Xwalacktun is the finishing touch on the West coast inspired entrance of the Audain Art Museum in the Village of Whistler, British Columbia.
The Audain art museum, open for just over a year, is in itself a piece of art. The modern west coast architecture nestles seamlessly into a grove of evergreens between the upper and lower villages of Whistler. Inside is an impressive collection of British Columbia artwork, from the traditional works of the province’s First Peoples through to its contemporary masters.
