Gift Presented to Kwantlen University College

When Brenco President, Steve Heim learned that the Metal Fabrication Programme at Kwantlen University College needed a scale to weigh student projects, he knew exactly what to do.  He donated a brand new crane scale valued at $1200.  What makes this story even more intriguing, is that Steve purchased it at a charity auction held at North America's premier metal fabrication exhibition last year in Atlanta, Georgia.  The auction was being held by the FMA Foundation to raise money for student scholarships and manufacturing camps.  By purchasing the scale from the auction and donating it to Kwantlen, Brenco supported two important and worthwhile metal industry organizations.
