Precision cutting this 10″ stainless steel pipe would have been next to impossible before todays’ technology. We jigged this pipe on our 26′ long waterjet table and cut through one side at a time to ensure accuracy. The large cutouts shown were cut opposite each other (top and bottom) in two steps with smaller diameter holes cut along the sides of the pipe.
Providing the customer with precision cutting allowed couplings and feed pipes to be fitted and welded efficiently saving them time and money. The final product is a portion of a header for a water treatment facility.
