Surrey Arts Centre / Relocated to Harvard Gardens, South Surrey - This piece is a replica of the original aluminum artwork produced for the National Gallery of Canada (no. 42168) in 2007. The Supernatural Eye features design elements seen in traditional Haida art however it is unusual in that some of the elements exist only in the negative space.

Due to the thickness of the side wall and the irregular shapes and angles this piece took many hours and much finessing to complete. Without the experience and ingenuity of a number of long time staff members we would not have been able to turn this piece into reality.
